New Delhi: The entire state of Uttarakhand is reeling under the impact of excessive rainfall this monsoon, with Chamoli district being one of the worst-affected regions. A few days ago, a cloudburst in Tharali, Chamoli, severely disrupted local life. Along with essential daily needs, the supply of food items was also badly hit.
In this difficult situation, NTPC’s Tapovan Vishnugad Hydropower Project extended support by sending relief materials to the people of Tharali in the district of Chamoli, Uttarakhand.
The Executive Director and Project Head of Tapovan Vishnugad Hydropower Project, Mr. Ajay Kumar Shukla, flagged off a vehicle loaded with relief supplies from the project site to Tharali.
