NTPC Western Region organised Corporate Communications Meet-cum-Workshop

Mumbai, 3 September 2025 — NTPC Western Region-I Headquarters (WR-I HQs) successfully organised a Regional Corporate Communications Meet-cum-Workshop on Stakeholder Management at Ratnagiri Gas and Power Private Limited (RGPPL), Ratnagiri, on 1 September 2025.

The workshop was graced by Shri Santosh Kumar Takhele, Regional Executive Director (West-I) and CEO (RGPPL), along with all Business Unit Heads and Heads of HR of NTPC WR-I projects and stations. Senior executives, faculty members, and Corporate Communications professionals from across the region participated in the event.

The meet commenced with a ceremonial inauguration, including the lighting of the lamp and NTPC Geet, followed by a welcome address by Smt. Vandana Chaturvedi, Regional Head of HR (West-I). In his inaugural remarks, Shri Takhele underscored the vital role of stakeholder engagement and transparent communication in building organisational trust and resilience.

The workshop featured a series of insightful sessions delivered by eminent experts:

  • Ms Divanshi Gupta, Founder and Director, The Marcom Avenue — “Strategic Social Media for PSUs: Driving Public Trust, Transparency & Reputation in the Digital Era.”

  • Ms Aakriti Bhargava, Co-Founder, Wizikey — “Artificial Intelligence: Transforming Communications and PR in the Public Sector.”

  • Mr Jitendra Bhargava, Former Executive Director, Air India — “Leadership in the Eye of the Storm: Strategic Crisis Communication and Stakeholder Management in High-Stakes Environments.”

  • Mr K. M. Prashanth, Head of Corporate Communications, NTPC — “From Information to Engagement: Transforming Internal Communication Practices in NTPC.”

The programme also featured case study presentations by Corporate Communications teams from NTPC WR-I projects, recognising outstanding initiatives in crisis management and institutional brand building.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Takhele said:

Shri Prashanth added “These regional meets are not just knowledge-sharing forums but catalysts for creating stronger, proactive communication frameworks. By enhancing transparency and collaboration, we ensure that NTPC continues to uphold public trust and operational excellence.”

The meet reaffirmed NTPC WR-I’s commitment to strengthening stakeholder relationships, enhancing communication strategies, and fostering a consistent and trustworthy brand image.
