PESB to soon take interview for New EIL CMD, advertises vacancy
The eligibility to join the PSU Board is that candidate should be having a prior experience of serving in CPSE, Central Government Group A officer, State PSE or any Private Sector in company where the annual turnover is Rs.5,000 crore or more.
The Public Enterprise Selection Board has roll-out an advertisement for the post of Chairman and Managing Director of the Engineers India Ltd. The appointment shall be for a period of five years from the date of joining or up to the date of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Currently, the position is held by Ms. Vartika Shukla and her tenure as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Engineers India Limited (EIL) is until her superannuation on February 28, 2026. She was appointed to this role on April 23, 2021. Prior to this appointment, she was the Director (Technical) at EIL.
Ms. Vartika Shukla took charge as the Chairman & Managing Director at Engineers India Limited (EIL) in 2021. She is the first woman CMD of EIL and has been associated with the company for the past 32 years.
