State Coal Minister visits SECL, Discussed land acquisition process for coal projects
Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines, Satish Chandra Dubey, met Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Dev Sai to seek state support for land acquisition and resettlement in coal project expansion.
SECL officials welcomed Union Minister Satish Chandra Dubey in Raipur during his Chhattisgarh visit.
Hon'ble Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines, Government of India, Shri Satish Chandra Dubey, who arrived in Raipur on Chhattisgarh tour on 30 June 2025, paid a courtesy call on Hon'ble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Vishnu Dev Sai.
On this occasion, discussions were held regarding the desired cooperation from the state government to expedite the process of land acquisition and displacement of residents for the expansion of coal projects in the state.
Earlier, on reaching Swami Vivekananda Airport in Raipur, he was given a warm welcome by the SECL.
Shri Harish Duhan, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of SECL, along with Director (Technical - Operations cum Planning / Projects) Shri N. Franklin Jayakumar, Director (HR) Shri Biranchi Das, Director (Finance) Shri D. Sunil Kumar and Chief Vigilance Officer Shri Himanshu Jain felicitated the Hon'ble Minister by presenting him a flower bouquet.
