Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd reported a 47.3% increase in net profit to Rs 1,316.06 crore for the third quarter of FY 2024-25, compared to Rs 893.30 crore in the same period last year.
The company’s turnover rose by 36.97% to Rs 5,643.25 crore, up from Rs 4,120.10 crore in Q3 FY 2023-24. The company’s order book position stood at Rs 71,100 crore as of January 1, 2025, indicating strong revenue growth.
Following the earnings announcement, the stock gained 5.47% to trade at Rs 294.20 on the NSE, with an intraday high of Rs 292.20 and a low of Rs 281.60. The stock opened at Rs 283.90, above its previous close of Rs 278.75. The stock's dividend yield stood at 0.75%.
In the past five days, Bharat Electronics share price has rallied 10.6%. In the last month, its share price has been flat. The stock is down 7.6% over the past six months. But it has rallied 57.2% in the last one year.
