NTPC shares in Focus; Board to consider Issuance of Bond worth Rs 18,000 crore
New Delhi, June 17, 2025: Shares of NTPC Ltd have surged by 0.61% as the company has announced to hold a board meeting on 21st June to consider bond issuance.
According to the exchange filing made, it is informed that a meeting of the Board of Directors of NTPC Limited is scheduled to be held on Saturday, 21st June 2025, to inter-alia, consider issue of secured/ unsecured, redeemable, taxable/tax-free, cumulative/non-cumulative, non-convertible debentures ("Bonds/NCDs") aggregating upto Rs.18,000 Crore, subject to approval of shareholders.

The total fund raise is around Rs 18,000 crore.
The stock opened at Rs 334.00 and is currently trading at 0.64%. The stock has fallen below -3.78% in last six months. The market capitalization of the company is at Rs 3.26L crore.
