According to ISRO, The Aditya-L1 mission is designed to study the Sun's upper atmosphere (chromosphere and corona) and its interaction with the solar wind. The Aditya L1 mission will be launched at 11:50 a.m. on September 2, 2023. The spacecraft will take off from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.
