TEACHERS INSTRUMENTAL IN COMPANY SUCCESS SHRI NAG NATH THAKUR
Singrauli: Northern Coalfields Limited, on the occasion of Teachers’ Day on Thursday at Officers Club Singrauli, felicitated school teachers of NCL associated schools located across the company. The Director (Finance & Personnel) NCL Shri N.N.Thakur graced the occasion as Chief Guest while NCL JCC member Shri Arun Dubey and Vice President Kriti Mahila Mandal Smt. Neelu Thakur were present as guests of honour.
Addressing the gathering, Director (Finance & Personnel) Shri Nag Nath Thakur said that teachers teaching in NCL associated schools are instrumental in company’s success. He said that it is because of the dedicated teachers that NCL employees can work diligently in such remote place without having to worry about their children’s education. Citing examples of meritorious students passing out from these schools and coming back to serve as Doctors in NCL hospital, he said that this is one of the most magnificent way in which the company extends relationships out and beyond and serves the humankind. Shri Thakur thanked teachers and encouraged NCL associated schools to expand their canvas of inclusion assuring them of all the help while providing admission to the children belonging to disadvantaged households.
Shri Charles Juster, General Manager (Personnel) / Chief of Personnel, NCL, while congratulating the teachers said NCL associated schools have played a key role in transformation of lives and hailed them for students excelling in wide range of fields on national and international level.
Recounting a personal experience, Shri Arun Dubey JCC member NCL highlighted the emotional bond between teacher and student. He credited teachers for shaping lives of students.
TEACHERS FELICITATED
On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, the Principals and outstanding teachers of NCL associated schools-- DAV Kakri, DAV Bina, DAV Khadia, DAV Dudhichua, DAV Nigahi, DAV Amlohri, DAV Jhingurda, Kendriya Vidyalaya Singrauli, Kendriya Vidyalaya CWS, DPS Nigahi, Bina Intermediate College—were felicitated. Teachers of government schools in and around NCL were also honoured.
Prior to this, the Principals of schools gave a presentation highlighting success stories and future plans. The school children of Kendriya Vidyalaya Singrauli, Kendriya Vidyalaya CWS, DAV Khadia and DAV Nigahi gave cultural performances.
Staff Officer (Personnel), NCL Nigahi Area, Smt Kavita Gupta presented vote of thanks. General Managers/HOD’s alongwith large number of employees, teachers and students participated in the programme.
