GSL emerges as the Fastest Growing DPSU Shipyard in the country
PANJI. 50th Annual General Meeting of Goa Shipyard Limited was held recently wherein the Company adopted the Annual Accounts for FY 2015-16. CMD R Adm. (Retd) Shekhar Mital informed that Company has achieved Profit before Tax (PBT) more than doubled to Rs. 110 Cr from Rs.53 Cr reported in FY 2014-15. Similarly Value of Production (VoP) has shown a 27% increase over the last FY and has moved up to Rs 726 Cr, registering a cumulative growth of 43% from FY 2013-14, catapulting GSL as the ‘Fastest Growing DPSU Shipyard in the country’.
The company has paid Productivity Linked Incentive (PLI) at the highest ever rate of 15%, of annual Basic pay to all workmen, in keeping with its excellent Operational performance for the year 2015-16. The Company has further declared 64% dividend, against 54% dividend paid in the previous year.
