SCOPE Organizes Two-days Conference on Labour Law Reforms
Shilong.Two-days Conference on Management of Contract Labour and Labour Law Reforms was organized by Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) at Shilong on July 15 , 2016. Several aspects of contract labour and possible reforms for their minimum wages and social security were discussed.
While speaking in the inaugural session, Dr. U.D. Choubey, Director General, SCOPE complimented Government of India for their attempt to build on over 40 number of the laws.
The programme was inaugurated by Prof. M. Sridhar Acharyulu, Information Commissioner, Central Information Commission. Mr. Bipin Mallick, IAS, Additional Secretary & DG (Labour Welfare), Ministry of Labour & Employment also addressed the inaugural session.large number of representatives from public sector enterprises participated.
