RLDA Invites Applications for Manager & Assistant Manager (Law) on Deputation

The Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), part of the Ministry of Railways, has announced Vacancy Notice No. 29/2025 for the positions of Manager (Law) and Assistant Manager (Law) on a deputation basis. RLDA handles land management, station redevelopment, contract management, and financial operations for Indian Railways. Its projects are located in major cities such as Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Chennai, Lucknow, Nagpur, and Secunderabad.

The Manager (Law) role is at Level 11 (7th CPC) and is based in Delhi. The tenure is three years, with a possible two-year extension. To qualify, candidates must have a law degree and currently serve as Group B Gazetted Officers in Indian Railways, Central or State Government, or PSUs at Level 8 (7th CPC) or higher. Preferred experience includes real estate, land or revenue issues, arbitration, handling services or matters, and computer skills.

The Assistant Manager (Law) position is at Level 9 (7th CPC) and is also located in Delhi. Similar to the Manager role, it has a three-year tenure with a potential two-year extension. Candidates must have a law degree and work at Level 7 (7th CPC) or an equivalent level in PSUs or statutory authorities, with at least six years of experience. Preferred skills include experience in real estate, land or revenue issues, arbitration, handling services or matters, and computer knowledge.
