4 turnaround PSUs BCCL,NPCC, NFDC and SAIL Refractory Unit bags TURNAROUND AWARD 2013

NEW DELHI .   BRPSE (Board for Reconstruction of Public Sector Enterprises) ‘Turnaround Award 2013’ were presented here today to CPSEs . Dr. Nitish Sengupta, Chairman, BRPSE, gave away the award to   4 CPSEs : (i)   Bharat Coking Coal Ltd; (ii)   National Film Development Corporation Ltd., (iii) National Project Construction Corporation Ltd., and(iv)        SAIL Refractory Unit (Formerly Bharat Refractory Ltd.

 

On  the occasion a booklet titled ‘On the Wings of Transformation’ was also released by Dr. Sengupta. The booklet contains the success stories of these 4 CPSEs.

 

Till date BRPSE has considered 68 cases and recommended revival of 58 CPSEs and closure of 6 CPSEs envisaging total assistance of Rs. 39,200 crore.   Shri Atul Chaturvedi, Chairman, PESB and Shri O. P. Rawat, Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises, also addressed the Award ceremony.
