New Delhi: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has been honoured at the ICAI Awards for Excellence in Financial Reporting 2023-24 in the Infrastructure & Construction Sector category. The award was presented to Shri Rajesh Kumar Dwivedi, Director Finance, BHEL by Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Hon'ble Union Minister of State (I/C) for Law & Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs, at a ceremony held in the World Forum of Accountants (WOFA) in New Delhi. The recognition reflects BHEL's commitment to transparency and highest standards in financial reporting.
At WOFA 2025 the following day, Shri Dwivedi addressed the gathering on 'Integrating Financial Insights with Business Strategy: Accountants as Architects of Value Creation' emphasizing that "Financial experts are co-pilots, driving companies with data analytics, strategic budgeting, and collaborative approaches for organisational success." These accomplishments reflect BHEL's continued leadership in engineering excellence and financial governance, reinforcing its vital contribution to India's self-reliance mission.
