New Delhi: Hon'ble Minister of Coal Sh Pralhad Joshi presented the Coal Minister’s Award 2022-23 to NCL's General Manager of Jhingurda Area Sh V K Singh in the Medium Area category for Excellent performance. The award was given on Tuesday at a conference on UG Coal Mining held in Delhi.

Coal Minister Addressed Conference on Underground Coal Mining – Way Forward for sustainable energy security. Unveiled Coal India’s UG Vision Plan, which is a roadmap for achieving 100 MT production from CIL's underground mines by FY 2028.
