NTPC Awarded for Best Public Sector Organization Implementing CSR

New Delhi: NTPC Limited, ER-II Headquarters, Bhubaneswar conferred the ‘Award of Excellence’ in the category of ‘Best Public Sector Organization Implementing CSR’ by the jury member of the 7th National Media Conclave – 2023 held at KIMS Auditorium, Bhubaneswar on 23rd Nov’23. 

The award was presented by Shri Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Hon’ble, Minister of Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare, Govt. of Odisha and Shri Pradip Kumar Amat, Hon’ble Minister of Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water, Govt. of Odisha.

The award was conferred to NTPC Limited for its outstanding contribution towards the implementation of CSR initiatives and well-being of communities and society through environmental and social measures in the Eastern Region-II.

Out of many flagship CSR initiatives, NTPC’s Girl Empowerment Mission has reached new heights of success in helping young girls to realise their goals and befitting over a million of countrymen. This year NTPC has carried out its GEM programmes across 41 locations.

Shri Virender Pratap Singh, DGM (HR) and Shri Rajendra Sahoo, Assistant Manager (HR) received the award on behalf of Shri Partha Mazumder, Regional Executive Director (ER-II). 

Shri Partha Mazumder, Regional Executive Director (ER-II), and Shri Rajnish Rastogi, General Manager (HR), expressed their appreciation for the ER-II Team's contribution to this achievement.
