NTPC felicitated for contribution to Swachh Vidyalaya Abhiyan
NEW DELHI . NTPC was felicitated for its contribution towards Swachh Vidyalaya Abhiyan on Nov. 2, 2015. Shri Piyush Goyal,Union Minister of State, for Power, Coal, New and Renewable Energy honored Shri A. K. Jha, CMD , NTPC for
championing the cause of Swachh Bharat by successfully constructing toilets across 17 States covering 83 districts more than 650 blocks of the country. Despite challenges “Team NTPC” met the target and completed more than 29000 toilets.
Shri P K Pujari Secretary (Power), Shri Anil Swarup, Secretary(Coal) , Shri U Tripathy, Secretary (New & Renewable Energy), Dr S.C.Khuntia, Secretary ( Deptt of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of HRD) were also present on the occasion.
NTPC`s Regional Executive Directors, senior EDs and officials of the CSR team were also felicitated and honored in the program for the selfless contribution through shear hard work and exemplary dedication for achieving the target of Swachh
Vidyalaya. Nodal officers for the program from all PSUs under the Ministry of Power, Coal and New and Renewable Energy were also felicitated.
