NEW DELHI- NTPC Teams secured the Top-3 positions in the recently concluded Grand Finale of AIMA’s 6th Young Managers Simulation Championship (YMS 2022-23) held on 10th February 2023 through the Online Mode.
The Team of Shri Gaurav Srivastava, Senior Manager (Operation), Dadri Gas, Shri Chinnathambi G, Senior Manager (C & I Maintenance), Rihand, and Shri Mukesh Yadav, Senior Manager (Operation), Rihand, emerged as the National Winners of the Competition.
The Team of Shri Chinmay Sahu, Senior Manager (Tech Services), Shri Karthik S D, Senior Manager, and Shri S.V.D.R. Sankar Kovvali, Manager (HR), from Talcher Kaniha secured the National Runners Up-I position.
The Team of Shri Yoginderkumar J, Senior Manager (Operation), Vallur, Shri Rahul Kudigrama, Manager (Operation), Vallur, and Shri Guhan M R, Manager, Engg. (Nuclear Cell), CC-EOC secured the National Runners Up-II position.
The performance of NTPC Teams at AIMA’s 6th Young Managers Simulation Championship (in which Teams from various corporates had participated at the pan-India level) bears testimony to NTPC’s people practices which not only build the capabilities of its employees but also provide a platform to the employees for showcasing their skills and win laurels for the company.
Young Managers Simulation is an endeavour by AIMA to provide an excellent opportunity for young professionals /managers to familiarise themselves with Business Management concepts and manage a business in the simulated environment. The participants are sensitised to acquaint themselves with the challenges faced by the top Leaders, Decision Makers, and Administrators as functional heads to encounter these by forming business strategies and making decisions. It sharpens their business acumen and prepares them as versatile human assets to shoulder multi-tasking for business growth.
