NTPC Vindhyachal receives National Project Excellence Award 2015
VINDHYA NAGAR . March 25 , 2016
The completion of Vindhyachal Stage V has been adjudged by Project Management Associates (PMA - India) as worthy of National Project Excellence Award 2015 in the Power Sector. PMA India is the Exclusive Indian Member of the International Project Management Association (IPMA), a federation of member association from 60 countries. PMA is the only authorised agency for promotion of the project management discipline in India .
The award was received by Shri SK Roy, ED , Vindhyachal from Mr. Reinhard Wagner, President of the IPMA in presence of Shri A Razdan , former Secretary, Power, Govt, of India and Shri AS Pillai, President PMA. Shri SK Roy was also awarded as Project Leader of the year for his leadership resulting in completion of Stage V in record duration of 26 months from boiler erection start. The PMA Award scheme has been initiated for the first time in India.
