NTPC`s 5 power plants receive national awards for meritorious performance
NEW DELHI . Five Stations of NTPC received the National Awards for Meritorious Performance in Power Sector for the year
2013-14. Dadri Gas(840 MW) received the Silver Award, Korba(2600 MW) and Ramagundam(2600 MW) received the Bronze Award,
Vindhyachal(4260 MW) and Anta (419 MW) received the Certificate of Merit. These awards for efficiency and performance in the sector were presented by Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of State for Power, Coal and New & Renewable Energy at a function held in New Delhi today.During FY 2014-15, all coal stations of NTPC achieved Declared Capacity of above 83%.
