Mini Ratna, SJVN bagged 3rd prize of NTPC Rajbhasha Shield

The award was presented by the Hon'ble Union Minister of Power and New & Renewable Energy, Shri R. K Singh.
New Delhi: SJVN was awarded 3rd prize of NTPC Rajbhasha Shield for best implementation of Official Language Policy during the year 2018-19 and year 2019-20. The award was presented by the Hon'ble Union Minister of Power and New & Renewable Energy, Shri R. K Singh, and was received by the Chairman and Managing Director of the Corporation, Shri Nand Lal Sharma during a meeting of the Hindi Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Power held in New Delhi.

Shri Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman, and Managing Director, SJVN Limited informed that this award has been given for the best performance of Official Language Policy in various projects and offices of the Corporation.
NTPC Rajbhasha Shield Award is given annually by the Ministry of Power, Government of India for the efforts made by the corporations towards the use and propagation of the Official Language Hindi.
Compliance of the Official Language Policy is ensured by the Ministry of Power in all undertakings, institutions, and corporations. Along with the generation of electricity, the light of the official language is also transported to every nook and corner of the country, accelerating the progressive use of Hindi.
