Canara Bank signs MoU with Indian Coast Guard to provide payroll package

State-owned Canara Bank has signed an MoU with the Indian Coast Guard on 13.01.2026 to extend the Canara Premium Payroll Package and Jeevandhara Package to Indian Coast Guard employees.

The MoU was executed by Ms. Sheeba Sahajan, General Manager, Government Services Vertical, Canara Bank, and DIG Narendra Singh, TM, Principal Director (Administration), Coast Guard Headquarters, in the presence of other officials from both organisations.

This partnership will enable enhanced and seamless banking solutions for the dedicated workforce of the Indian Coast Guard.

Previously, the Bank has signed some major agreements with East Coast Railway, MOIL Ltd, Bihar state government, IIT Bombay, Karnataka State Police, SBI Project Finance Centre. These were signed to offer customized salary accounts, loans, and other banking benefits to large group of employees.
