Central Bank of India Announces Senior Management Changes Effective December 2, 2025
Central Bank of India has announced key senior management changes effective December 1, 2025, promoting and appointing executives across International, Retail, Finance, and Compliance divisions.

Central Bank of India has announced multiple changes in its senior management positions, effective 1 December 2025, in accordance with Regulation 30 and 51 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015. The bank has notified the stock exchanges and published the information on its official website.
According to the filing, four senior executives have been promoted or newly appointed to leadership roles across key divisions including International Business, Treasury, Retail Assets, Finance, and Compliance.
1. Shri Vasti Venkatesh – Promoted as Chief General Manager (International Division & Treasury)
Shri Vasti Venkatesh, who joined the bank in 2008, has been elevated to the position of Chief General Manager. A science graduate with an MBA in Banking and Finance, he also holds CAIIB certification and brings over 30 years of banking experience.
2. Shri P. Mahadevan – Promoted as General Manager (Retail Assets)
Shri P. Mahadevan, associated with the bank since 1995, has been promoted as General Manager for Retail Assets. He holds degrees in Commerce and Arts, is CAIIB certified, and has nearly 30 years of experience across banking operations.
3. Shri Vivek Kumar – Appointed as General Manager (Finance & Accounts)
Shri Vivek Kumar, who joined Central Bank of India in 1999, has been appointed as General Manager of Finance & Accounts. He holds degrees in Science, Education, and Management Studies (Finance), along with CAIIB certification. He previously led the Retail Assets Department and has 26 years of diverse experience.
4. Ms. Kavita Thakur – Appointed as General Manager (Compliance)
Ms. Kavita Thakur, who began her banking career in 1990, has been appointed as General Manager in charge of Compliance. She holds an MA in Economics and an MBA, and is CAIIB certified. She earlier served as Zonal Manager of Ahmedabad Zone and has over 35 years of experience.
The bank confirmed that none of these executives have any relationships with directors, and all appointments/promotions comply with SEBI disclosure requirements.
