New Delhi, March 18, 2026: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the premature repatriation of Ashok Kumar, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), to his parent cadre.

Key Decision

As per the Office Memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the repatriation has been approved with the condition of “extended cooling off” in public interest.
