The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the recommendations of the Civil Services Board (CSB) for lateral Shift of Shri Anuj Chandak, Indian Information Services Officer (2012), currently working as Joint Director, Junior Administrative Grade (Ordinary Grade) (Non-CSS post) in the Election Commission of India as Deputy Secretary in the M/o Environment, Forest & Climate Change under the Central Staffing Scheme on 'lateral shift' basis with effect from the date of assuming the charge of the post and for a tenure upto 02.04.2027 (i.e. combined tenure of six years on CSS & non-CSS posts put together) at Deputy Secretary level or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
