NALCO Organises Assistive Device Distribution Camp for Divyangjan at Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar, 21.03.2026: National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), the Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Mines, Govt of India, organised an Assistive Device Distribution Camp for Divyangjan on 20th March 2026 at the Nalconagar in Bhubaneswar through its CSR arm, ‘NALCO Foundation’. During the camp, a total of 100 assistive devices, were distributed to 64 beneficiaries identified from the Saliasahi slum, located on the periphery of NALCO’s Corporate Office in Bhubaneswar.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Tapas Kumar Pattanayak, Director (HR), in the presence of Shri Asutosh Rath, Executive Director (HR), along with senior officials from NALCO, NALCO Foundation, and Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO).
It may be mentioned that, as part of its sustained CSR efforts towards enhancing mobility and independence among Divyangjan, the company had earlier organised a series of such camps across its operational units, benefitting around 490 individuals through the distribution of nearly 820 assistive devices, amounting to approximately Rs.75 lakh. These initiatives reaffirm the commitment of NALCO to inclusive growth and social equity, aimed at improving the mobility, accessibility, and quality of life of Divyangjan, while empowering communities in its operational peripheries through focused CSR interventions.
