IPS Officer, Sagar Singh Kalsi appointed as Director in Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas

For him to begin his new assignment in Delhi, the Ministry has ordered that he be released from his existing duties immediately.

Under the Central Staffing Scheme, Sagar Singh Kalsi, an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer from the 2010 batch who was an AGMUT cadre, was appointed Director of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. Kalsi's appointment has been approved for five years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier, per a DoPT order made on February 4.

The Ministry of Home Affairs proposed him for the Central Delegation. The Ministry of Home Affairs recommended Kalsi for his deputation to the Centre, and he was chosen.

For him to begin his new assignment in Delhi, the Ministry has ordered that he be released from his existing duties immediately.
