The Government of India, under the Central Staffing Scheme, has announced the appointment of two senior officials as Directors in the Ministry of Home Affairs for a period of five years.

New Delhi, 26 May 2025: The Government of India, under the Central Staffing Scheme, has announced the appointment of two senior officials as Directors in the Ministry of Home Affairs for a period of five years.

Shri Vineet Satyanarayanan Nair, IDES (2011), who was recommended for Central deputation by the M/o Defence has been selected for appointment as Director in the Ministry of Home Affairs under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

Further, Shri Madhur Agrawal, IRAS (2009), who was recommended for Central deputation by the M/o Railways has been also selected for appointment as Director in the Ministry of Home Affairs under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

Both of them will be relieved of their duties immediately with instructions to take up their new assignment in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
