Shri Dutta’s expertise and leadership skills were recognized when he was promoted to the position of General Manager (Finance) in January 2018. In addition to his responsibilities at BCCL, Shri Dutta was entrusted with the additional charge of Director (Finance) at Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) in August 2019. His dual roles at BCCL and ECL showcased his ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. His tenure at ECL was marked by significant improvements in financial management and operational efficiency.
On December 28, 2021, Shri Dutta was appointed as the Chairman-Cum-Managing Director (CMD) of BCCL. In this role, he is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the company.
