His career, spanning over 37 years, is marked by significant contributions to the field of mining engineering. Shri Dwivedi began his professional journey in 1986 after graduating in Mining Engineering from IIT-BHU Varanasi. 

Throughout his career, Shri Dwivedi has held various key positions across different subsidiaries of Coal India Limited (CIL). At SECL, he served in multiple managerial roles, including General Manager of the Korba Coal Zone, where he was responsible for overseeing large-scale mining operations.

In February 2023, Shri Dwivedi was appointed as the Director (Technical) at WCL, a role that allowed him to leverage his extensive technical knowledge and strategic vision to drive the company’s growth.
