Mosquito Nets distributed by NTPC Kaniha

Kaniha: NTPC Talcher Kaniha distributed mosquito nets to the villagers of Bijigol under Kaniha block under its CSR initiative on 09.03.2017. Shri Debasis Sarkar was the Chief Guest of the occasion. Shri Sarkar distributed mosquito nets among the villagers in presence of Shri Dushasan Sahoo ,Sarpanch ,Bijigol,Smt Binati Nayak ,Samiti Member & Bijigol Village Committee members ,Shri Pralad Chandra Padhi ,Shri Prabhakar Pani , Shri Santosh Kumar Pani and ward members.

Around 2600 mosquito nets were distributed. Distribution of mosquito nets was done to prevent mosquito-borne diseases like malaria & dengue. During interaction with the villagers he said , that NTPC will provide drinking water to cater the shortage of drinking water in upcoming summer season & NTPC plans to provide solar street lights in villages in phased manner and requirement basis”.
