HYDERABAD. Smt Sharmila Roy Choudhury, President, Samyukta Mahila Samiti of NTPC Limited distributed sewing machines to poor women living in slum areas. As a part of its CSR initiative towards empowerment of women, NTPC had arranged vocational training programme in tailoring for these women at Prakrithi Environment Society, an NGO, in Hyderabad.Thirty women from Balanager and nearby slum areas of Hyderabad benefited from the vocational training.
