REC Limited commits 24 Lakhs under CSR for solar installations in Goa
This collaboration reaffirms REC’s commitment to supporting green energy solutions and empowering communities through sustainable infrastructure.

New Delhi: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, REC Limited has committed Rs 24 lakh for the installation of solar panels aimed at generating 60 KW of clean, renewable energy. The project envisions the deployment of solar systems at 11 community-centric locations across North and South Goa, promoting sustainable development and enhancing energy access at the grassroots level.
A Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed on 23rd June 2025 between Mr. Vijay B. Saxena, Joint CEO, Goa CSR Authority, and Shri Pradeep Fellows, Executive Director (CSR), REC Foundation. The Goa CSR Authority will serve as the implementing agency for this initiative.
