SJVN Undertakes Cleanliness Drive at Sankat Mochan Temple
Shimla: SJVN Limited organized a cleanliness drive at Shri Sankat Mochan Temple, Shimla for promoting and propagating Sawchhta Pakhwada that is being observed by SJVN from 16th-31st May 2019. A large number of SJVN employees along with members of temple management participated in this cleanliness drive.
On this occasion, Shri D.P Kaushal, Chief General Manager (HR) appraised that the Swachhata Pakhwada activities commenced on 16th May with administration of pledge to the employees by Shri Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director at company's Corporate Head Quarters, Shanan, Shimla. He also told that SJVN is successfully organizing the Pakhwada in all of its Projects and Offices in 6 states of the country viz Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Bihar and Delhi.
In order to propagate the message of Swachhata, SJVN has taken up various activities such as cleanliness drive, tree plantation drives, installation of dustbins in public places and workshops, nukkad nataks, motivational speeches and competitions were also organized in schools at project sites. To promote awareness towards personal hygiene & cleanliness, sanitary napkins were distributed among girl students in schools in the vicinity of project area.
