Chairman CIL Reviewed Performance of MCL
Sambalpur: A review meeting was chaired by Shri A. K. Jha, Chairman, Coal India Limited (CIL), and reviewed the performance of all the production units of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited as well as their despatch. Chairman noted with satisfaction that the company can hike up its production in this fiscal year however corresponding increase in the number of railway rakes to match the increase in production would have to be arranged.
Mr R. R. Mishra, CMD, MCL pointed out that the addition of the Doubleday siding. The company has the potential to despatch the increase in production through rakes.
Both Chairman, CIL and CMD, MCL were confident that in next 62 days MCL would record increase production and achieve its MoU target.
Chairman advised to all the Area GMs to motivate the team members to contribute their best to achieve the target.
