EESL FY 16 net at Rs 35point59 cr
New Delhi. State-run Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) has registered a net profit of Rs 35.59 crore for 2015—16.“Net profit of the company in 2015—16 is Rs 35.59 crore, an increase of Rs 26.53 crore over the previous year,” a statement said.
During the financial year 2015—16, the company registered revenue from operations, at Rs 708.84 crore, it said. EESL declared Rs 10.68 crore towards dividend for 2015—16 in comparison to Rs 2.72 crore in the previous year.“The net worth of the company as on March 31, 2016 has increased from Rs 110.33 crore to Rs 208.03 crore,” it added.
EESL Chairman K K Sharma said the company is growing at an exceptional pace and poised for a big leap in the coming years. Sharma thanked the company’s shareholders, employees and partners for this success.
EESL Managing Director Saurabh Kumar said, “Energy efficiency is an obvious choice for countries like India to meet energy needs. Without the support of the citizens of India and the right direction by the Government of India and its policies, this success would not have been possible.” Business Line
