NCL Bags SCOPE Corporate Communication Excellence Award
New Delhi: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has been once again recognized for exemplary work done in field of corporate communication and public relations (CC & PR). The apex body of Public Sector Enterprises SCOPE (Standing Conference Of Public Sector Enterprises) on 3rd August 2019 conferred Corporate Communication Excellence Award to the WhatsApp news broadcast service of the company as Innovative Stakeholder’s Interface.
The service, called ‘NCL Connect’, disseminates official news and latest updates of NCL to its internal and external stakeholders. Shri P.K. Sinha, CMD, NCL, Shri N.N. Thakur, Director (Finance & Personnel), Shri Siraj Kumar Singh, Public Relations Officer (PRO), Smt. Purvi Srivastava, Deputy Manager (HR/CC & PR) and Shri Utkarsh Agrawal, Assistant Manager (Excv./ CC & PR) received the award on behalf of the company from Shri B.P. Singh, former Home Secretary of India and former Governor of Sikkim.
The award was presented to the company at Corporate Communication Summit 2019 held at New Delhi during July 2nd-3rd 2019 on the theme of Corporate Communications in the age of disruptions-innovative solutions.
The CMD NCL along with the functional directors have congratulated Team CC & PR and expressed hopes that the team will help NCL scale new heights in organizational branding.
Prestigious bodies of PR professional in India like Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) and Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) have of late conferred many CC? awards to NCL in various categories like best In-house journal, CSR Newsletter, Rural Communications and Publicity of CSR works.
NCL also received Five PRCI 'PR Excellence Awards' this year.
