THDC India Limited ITI Apprentice Recruitment 2026

NEW DELHI/Tehri, Uttarakhand: THDC India Limited, a Mini Ratna Schedule ‘A’ Public Sector Enterprise under the Government of India and Government of Uttar Pradesh, has issued an official notification inviting applications for ITI Trade Apprenticeship Training – 2026. The apprenticeship program will be conducted under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended) at THDCIL’s Tehri and Koteshwar offices.

The training aims to provide technical skills and hands-on industry exposure to eligible youth of Uttarakhand for a period of one year.

Trades & Vacancies

A total of 20 apprenticeship positions are available in the following trades:

Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA) – 10 seats
Eligible candidates must have passed 10th class and ITI in 2023, 2024 or 2025 as regular candidates.
Stenographer / Secretarial Assistant (Hindi) – 10 seats
Candidates must possess 10th class qualification with ITI certification.

The number of vacancies may change as per management’s discretion.

Age Criteria

As on the last date of application:

Minimum age: 18 years
Maximum age: 30 years

Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as follows:

SC/ST: 5 years
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
Persons with Disabilities (40% or more): 10 years

Training & Stipend

Training Duration: One year
Stipend: Monthly stipend will be paid as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules, 2025.

Reservation Policy

Reservation for SC, ST, OBC and Persons with Disabilities will be provided in accordance with the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Uttarakhand Government norms.
