WBPDCL Invites Applications for Executive Director Posts
The West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL), a Government of West Bengal Enterprise, has invited online applications for one post each of Executive Director (Operation Service) and Executive Director (HR & Administration).
New Delhi: The West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL), a Government of West Bengal Enterprise, has invited online applications from experienced professionals for the posts of Executive Director (Operation Service) and Executive Director (HR & Administration) under Employment Notification No. WBPDCL/Recruitment/2025/07. One unreserved vacancy is available for each post, carrying a basic pay of ₹1,56,500 in the pay scale of ₹1,56,500–₹2,10,800 under Pay Level 14 of WBPDCL ROPA–2020, along with applicable allowances.
For the Operations post, candidates must be engineering graduates with at least 20 years of experience in a large power generation company, including two years as Station-in-Charge or General Manager in a thermal power station. For the HR & Administration post, applicants should be graduates with an MBA (HR) or equivalent qualification and 20 years of experience in large engineering or power sector organizations, including two years at General Manager level. The age limit is 52 to 58 years as on 1 December 2025, with relaxation up to 59 years for departmental candidates.
Selection will be through a personal interview to be held in Kolkata, with Bengali language proficiency being essential.
