New Delhi: TCA2I, IIT Bombay has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd (MDL) to foster collaboration in the areas of Applied Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and Digital Transformation.
Through this partnership, both institutions aim to leverage AI-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency, predictive maintenance, quality control and intelligent decision-making processes within the shipbuilding sector. The collaboration will focus on the development and deployment of innovative digital technologies that can address complex industrial challenges and contribute to the modernization of India's shipbuilding ecosystem.
The MoU marks a significant step toward strengthening industry-academia collaboration, combining TCA2I's research expertise with MDL's deep domain knowledge and practical experience. Together, they aim to create impactful technological interventions supporting India's vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Maritime Excellence.
