Indian Air Force and IIT Ropar Sign MoU for Indigenous Technology Development
This partnership seeks to accelerate the IAF’s indigenization efforts in line with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
A significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar in Punjab for collaborative developmental projects aimed at supporting the sustenance and operational requirements of India’s air power.
This partnership seeks to accelerate the IAF’s indigenization efforts in line with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
Under this strategic agreement, the Indian Air Force has identified key focus areas related to technology development and indigenous solutions for the sustenance of weapon systems. Further, with this IIT Ropar will extend consultancy support, influenced by advanced research, feasibility studies, and development of technology demonstrators.
