NALCO Signs Agreement for Pottangi Bauxite Mining Project

Bhubaneswar, December 2025 In a major move to strengthen raw material security and resource development, National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) signed a Bauxite Mining Agreement with M/s Dilip Buildcon Limited for the development and operation of the Pottangi Bauxite Mines. The agreement also covers the Overland Conveyor Corridor (OLCC) and other allied facilities.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Shri B. P. Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, along with Shri P. K. Sharma, Director (Production), Shri Jagdish Arora, Director (P&T), Shri A. K. Behuria, Director (Finance), and senior officials from NALCO and M/s Dilip Buildcon Limited.

This project is expected to play a key role in ensuring a steady supply of bauxite for NALCO’s operations, supporting long-term production goals and strengthening India’s aluminium value chain.
