Mumbai:  Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd. (MRVC), a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, has invited applications for the post of Chief Project Manager (Civil) on a deputation basis. This vacancy comes as MRVC continues to strengthen its project execution capabilities in the Mumbai Suburban area.

Eligibility and Application Process

  • The position is open to NFSAG/SAG/NFHAG IRSE officers with relevant work experience.

  • Applicants must submit the duly filled application form (Annexure-II) via email to managerhr@mrve.gov.in.

  • A copy must also be forwarded by the applicant’s administrative officer to MRVC through the Railway Board with “No Objection”, Vigilance/DAR clearance, and APAR ratings for the last five years.

  • Candidates will be screened by a Selection Committee based on experience, qualifications, and suitability for the role.

Role Overview

The Chief Project Manager (Civil) will be responsible for:

  • Planning, executing, and monitoring engineering projects within the sensitive Mumbai Suburban Railway network.

  • Ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and safety standards.

  • Coordinating with multiple departments and stakeholders to optimize project delivery.

Selected officers will draw pay from their parent department along with deputation allowances and other entitlements under MRVC policy.
