Hydropower PSU NHPC and JSW Energy Signs agreement for 300 MW Solar-Wind Hybrid Capacity
The aforesaid project is expected to be commissioned in the next 24 months and is located in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.

State-run NHPC Ltd and JSW Energy Limited through its stepdown subsidiary Energizent Power Private Limited, has signed Power Purchase Agreement for ISTS-connected 300 MW Solar-Wind Hybrid Capacity.
According to the press release, the PPA is signed for supply of power for a period of 25 years with a tariff of Rs 3.49/KWh. The aforesaid project is expected to be commissioned in the next 24 months and is located in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.

JSW Energy has total locked-in generation capacity of 29.9 GW comprising of 12.5 GW operational, 12.8 GW under-construction across wind, thermal and hydro and pipeline of 4.6 GW. The company also has 29.3 GWh of locked-in energy storage capacity through hydro pumped storage projects of 26.4 GWh and battery energy storage system of 2.9 GWh.
The Company aims to reach 30 GW generation capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage capacity by FY 2030 and achieve Carbon Neutrality by 2050.
Shares of NHPC Ltd are trading down by 0.92% at Rs 84.19 and while shares of JSW Energy are also trading down by 0.18% at Rs 506.90 at BSE.
