Numaligarh Refinery Limited and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited today signed a Master Agreement for setting up a dedicated Crude Oil Procurement Cell at NRL to support crude sourcing and product evacuation from the additional 6 MMTPA capacity under the Numaligarh Refinery Expansion Project (NREP).

New Delhi: Numaligarh Refinery Limited and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited today signed a Master Agreement for setting up a dedicated Crude Oil Procurement Cell at NRL to support crude sourcing and product evacuation from the additional 6 MMTPA capacity under the Numaligarh Refinery Expansion Project (NREP). Under this agreement, BPCL will extend its expertise in international trade to NRL through capacity building and handholding for crude oil imports and product exports from the expanded refinery.
 

The agreement was signed by Manoj Heda, Executive Director (International Trade), BPCL and Pratul Kumar Saikia, Senior Chief General Manager (Finance), NRL in the presence of NRL Managing Director Bhaskar Jyoti Phukan, Director (Finance) Sachidananda Maharana and senior officials of both companies.
