NTPC Green Energy signs pact with Bihar State Power Generation Company Ltd

NTPC Green Energy, a subsidiary of state owned NTPC Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL) for the development of Battery Energy Storage Projects and Renewable Energy Project, aiming for the decarbonization and energy transition in the state of Bihar.

The agreement was exchanged between Shri Sarit Maheswari, CEO (NGEL & NREL) and Shri Abdesh Kumar Singh, Director Technical (BSPGCL), shared in the presence of the Hon’ble Minister of Energy, Planning and Development of Government of Bihar Sh. Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Hon’ble Minister of Industries of Govt. of Bihar Sh. Nitish Mishra, ACS, Department of Industries, Secretary Department of Energy and other senior officials from Government of Bihar
