NTPC signed MoU with Dayanand Medical College; will provide Rs. 35 lakh financial aid

New Delhi: NTPC and Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana today signed a Memorandum of Understanding to provide financial aid of Rs. 35 lakh for purchase of Mobile Clinic Van.
The Mobile Clinic Van shall be fitted with IEC (Information, Education & Communication) system & screening, consultation, and examination facilities. The MOU was signed in the presence of Shri S N Tripathi, RED (Hydro), NTPC, Shri Uttam Lal, CGM (CSR/R&R), NTPC and Dr. Ashwani Chaudhary, Medical Supdt., Prof. & Head, Neurosurgery, DMCH.
Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana has been providing health care services to rural and suburban area of Malerkotla, Ahmedgarh and Dehlon in Punjab catering around 1 million people of this region. Through Mobile Clinic Van, Hospital aspires to provide good quality Healthcare services to the women of these rural area on their doorstep.

This MOU is one of the many steps taken by NTPC to support in improvement of healthcare facilities in India. We believe that with the expertise of DMCH, we will be able to positively impact the lives of women in these rural areas.” said Shri S N Tripathi, RED (Hydro), NTPC.
