PowerGrid, NTPC, Posoco participates in Indo-Bangladesh 20th JWC meet

Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh: Delegates from the Ministry of Power, POWERGRID, NTPC, POSOCO, and other major utilities participated in the India-Bangladesh 20th Joint Working Group (JWG) and Joint Working Committee (JWC) meeting.
It was chaired by the Secretary (Power, Govt. of India) and Secretary (Power Division, Bangladesh).
This Joint Working Committee (JWC) meeting was held after 2 years to take up the issue of sharing of river waters and connectivity initiatives between the two countries. Both the countries are aiming to boost commercial ties between them which will also help prepare the grounds for Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s planned visit to India, which is expected to take place early in July, accordingly.
