Ajit Kumar Panda Appointed CONCOR CMD

New Delhi, July 24, 2026: The Board of Directors of Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) has appointed Ajit Kumar Panda as the company's new Chairman and Managing Director (CMD).

Panda, who currently serves as Director (Projects & Services) at CONCOR, will take charge as CMD from the date of assumption of office on or after August 1, 2026. His tenure will continue until August 31, 2028, the date of his superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The appointment follows an order from the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, and was approved by CONCOR's Board on the recommendation of its Nomination & Remuneration Committee.

CONCOR also confirmed that Panda has not been debarred from holding the office of director by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) or any other authority.
