Ms Shelly Srivastava Appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer of ONGC
Government appoints Ms Shelly Srivastava as Chief Vigilance Officer of ONGC for a tenure till November 2027 under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

New Delhi: The Government of India has approved the appointment of Ms Shelly Srivastava, an IRTS officer of the 2001 batch, as the Chief Vigilance Officer CVO of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited ONGC in New Delhi.
The appointment has been cleared by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet and will be under the administrative control of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
According to the official order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, Ms Srivastava will hold the post in Pay Level 14 with a salary range of Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200, for a tenure up to 02 November 2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Her tenure also follows the rule of a combined deputation period of seven years away from her parent cadre.
Ms Srivastava will take charge of the post upon her formal assumption of duties. The Ministry of Railways has been directed to relieve her immediately so that she can join ONGC without delay.
This appointment comes at a crucial time as ONGC continues to strengthen its governance and vigilance framework to support its growing domestic and international operations in the energy sector.
