Namita Tripathi Given Additional Charge as Director (Finance) of MRVC
The Ministry of Railways has assigned additional charge of Director (Finance), MRVC, to Ms. Namita Tripathi, IRAS, PFA Central Railway, with effect from assumption of charge.

New Delhi, 16 Dec 2025: The Ministry of Railways has entrusted Ms. Namita Tripathi, IRAS, with the additional charge of Director (Finance) at Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd. (MRVC).
According to an official order issued by the Railway Board on December 16, 2025, Ms. Tripathi, who is currently serving as Principal Financial Adviser (PFA), Central Railway, will hold the additional responsibility in addition to her present duties. The charge will take effect from the date she assumes office and will continue until further orders, subject to approval of the competent authority.
The Railway Board has also withdrawn its earlier letter dated December 1, 2025, issued on the same matter.
MRVC, a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra, plays a key role in the planning and execution of major suburban rail infrastructure projects in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
